Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy

Desee Art endeavors to ensure that every transaction on our website is seamless. We take great care in delivering our products and adhere to the highest quality standards. If you are not happy with your purchase, please see the options for returning or exchanging any of the items.

Cancellation Policy

An order can only be canceled on the same calendar day within your time zone. Once the order is processed, no cancellation request will be entertained. Please contact us for any queries.

 

Return Policy

At Desee Art, you can return the products eligible for return (i.e. if the product delivered is incorrect) within 24 Hrs of receiving them, by writing to us. Please refer to the applicable terms for returns from within India and from other countries.

All items cannot be returned, therefore, please check the eligibility for returns before making the purchase.

Items to be returned must not be used, worn, or damaged in any way. Return items will only be accepted with their original packaging. Any item that has been damaged, soiled, or altered will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer (unless the damage has not been done by the Customer). No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted for the following items:

  • Custom-made products and products personalized to your requirement
  • Products that are not eligible for return/exchange.

In the unlikely event that you receive merchandise that is damaged, or different from the one(s) ordered, please email us a photo of the product with Order Details within 24 hours of receiving the order. We will replace the product or reimburse the full invoice value basis discussion with you.

 

For Indian Orders

Desee Art will arrange a reverse pick-up from your given address (For certain locations, reverse pick-up might not be available).

Once the returns are received by us and have cleared necessary quality checks, you can either choose to receive a replaced product or get a refund on your original credit or debit card used for the payment. 

 

For International Orders

Our team must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is approved, you will be asked to ship back the products to the Point of origin of the product, which will be decided on a case-to-case basis. Our return address will be given to you by mail only.

Responsibility for the safety of the product(s) being returned lies with you, till we receive them. We will not be held responsible for any damage caused during the transit of the product(s) from your destination to the Desee Art return address.

Once returns are received by us and they clear quality checks, you can choose to either receive a replaced product or get a refund on your original credit or debit card used for the payment. 

 

Refund Process

Bank Refund – Refund will be done to the same mode of payment used at the time of purchase. The refund process will only be initiated after the product(s) have been received at our warehouse and have been validated for return. All returns are subject to the discretion of Desee Art.

 

Incorrect / Incomplete Shipping address

We are unable to offer refunds if we’ve been given an incorrect or incomplete shipping address if there are three failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or if the package is refused by the recipient.

 

Damage/Defective/Wrong Supply of products

The customer is advised to check the ordered products and quantity in the invoice, before accepting the package from the logistics service provider/courier.

In case any discrepancy is found, or damage to the packet is noticed, please leave a suitable remark on receipt to the logistics service provider/courier for accepting the delivery of the products.

In case the product is with damaged artwork or a wrong product has been received, kindly contact our registered mobile number within 24 Hours of receiving the products. Your purchase is eligible for return or exchange only if it meets the following conditions:

  • An incorrect product has been delivered to you i.e. the product does not match the item in the order confirmation email.
  • If the product you receive has a genuine quality defect.

If your purchase meets our return criteria stated above, please contact our care team within 24 hours of delivery with the following information:

– Order number

– Delivery address

– Specify the reason for return and in case of a defective or incorrect product, please send us images of the product

 

Our Quality Check team will verify the defects, and after that our customer service team will email or contact you for the necessary action.

The product must be received within 10 days from the date of advice by the Customer Service Department. Please ensure that the product you return is unused and unworn and the original tags are intact.

 

Colors

We have made every effort to display the colors of our products that appear on Desee Art as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors, tablets, and mobile devices vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of color will be completely accurate.



Severance and Waiver

These Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding your usage of the Website. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall be severable from the remaining provisions and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. Desee Art’s failure to enforce any term or condition, on any occasion, shall not be construed as a waiver of such term or condition.




Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Desee Art and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

All items cannot be returned, therefore, please check the eligibility for returns before making the purchase.

Items to be returned must not be used, worn,or damaged in any way. Return items will only be accepted with their original packaging. Any item that has been damaged, soiled, or altered will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted for the following items:

  • Products that are not eligible for return/exchange (will be specifically mentioned in the product information).

In the unlikely event that you receive merchandise that is damaged, or different from the one(s) ordered, please email us a photo of the product with Order Details within 23 hours of receiving the order. We will replace the product or reimburse the full invoice value as per your request.

If you are dissatisfied with the product delivered, please mail us within 7 days from the date of receiving the product.

For Indian Orders

Once the returns are received by us and have cleared necessary quality checks, you can either choose to receive store credit or get a refund on your original credit or debit card used for the payment. A deductible re-stocking fee of Rs.100/- per item, will be applicable for all the returns.

For International Orders

Our team must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is approved, you will be asked to ship back the products to New Delhi, India. Our return address will be given to you by mail only.

Responsibility for the safety of the product(s) being returned lies with you, till we receive them. We will not be held responsible for any damage caused during the transit of the product(s) from your destination to the Desee Art return address.

Once returns are received by us and, they clear quality checks, you can choose to either receive store credit or get a refund on your original credit or debit card used for the payment. A deductible re-stocking fee of Rs.1000/- will be applicable for all international returns.

Refund Process

Bank Refund – We refund the amount minus the Re-Stocking Charges per product in your bank account. Refund will be done to the same mode of payment used at the time of purchase.

The refund process will only be initiated after the product(s) have been received at our warehouse and have been validated for return.

All returns are subject to the discretion of CartIt.
