In all of the untitled paintings of Rajendra Patil, the voyage is toward pure, concrete abstraction- questioning the active and the passive, the subject and the object. The agricultural, and industrial tools in the work achieved a fluid, floating form brilliantly composed on the dark background, the forms and the shapes hinting toward the historical and cultural intricacies investigated by the artist.
