Description
Mannat is an interactive installation inspired by the Ajmer Dargah. It is crafted from post-consumer plastic wrappers, woven into a delicate mesh structure that reflects the growing issue of plastic waste. The work becomes part of a space frequented by the people, and as part of the experience, visitors are given strips of textile waste to tie onto the mesh, symbolizing a personal promise to be more mindful of their plastic consumption. This simple yet powerful gesture encourages the audience to reflect on their individual role in environmental protection, creating a sense of shared responsibility in reducing plastic waste for a sustainable future.
