‘Lost and Found’, a Collaboration Project by Ruchika Wason Singh, 22th April 2022

‘Lost and Found’ is a durational collaborative, ice-based project by Ruchika Wason Singh in which the audience participated along with the artists to take part and create artwork. This project was presented by Desee Art on 29th April 2022 as a parallel event with the exhibition ‘The Dilemma of Sustainability’ at Sangeet Shyamala, New Delhi. The ice as a material is transformative and the artist, using this aspect of material evolution, took us on a journey of observing a process of change while creating along with it. A lot of kids from our audience enjoyed creating watercolors with other artists. This one-of-a-kind collaborative project is a success regarding the wholesome execution and the active engagement from the audience. In the end, there are several watercolor works and the sculpture of the eye, looking at us, as a memoir of time.
