Description
As a child growing up in rural India, the artist reflects on his memorable, favorite childhood and the images and objects attached to it. The work comes out as a celebration of friendship, dipped in the free movement of children running. The imagery in the work is familiar and has been intrinsically embedded with the cultural identity of rural India, the artist playfully creates the movement from the figures and reveals a story of friendship, lost traditional games from the past, and simple times- inspired by authentic experiences. The work stands like a souvenir of time, celebrating memory, identity, friendship, and the nostalgia of traditional village play.
